Wow Bao® Bao Buns
STEAM
- 1. Keep bao paper on to ensure bao does not stick to the steamer
- 2. Bring water to boil
- 3. Place thawed bao on steaming rack and cover. Ensure bao are not touching one another or touching the steamer’s sides.
- 4. Steam for 4-6 minutes to an internal temp of 165°F
- 5. Remove bao from heat
- 6. Allow bao to cool slightly then remove bao paper from the bottom of the bao
- 7. Enjoy!
MICROWAVE
- 1. Remove from package and place on a microwaveable plate
- 2. Keep bao paper on to ensure bao does not stick to the steamer
- 3. Cover bao with a damp paper towel
- 4. Microwave 1 bao for 20-30 seconds or 2 bao for 30-40 seconds to an internal temp of 165°F
- 5. Carefully remove the plate and allow the bao to cool slightly
- 6. Carefully remove bao paper from the bottom of the bao
- 7. Enjoy!
*Cooking times may vary depending on the wattage of your microwave. Higher-wattage microwaves will likely need less time than lower-wattage microwaves. Remember to use a thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches a minimum of 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Please review finished package label for allergens.
