Before joining Hissho Sushi in 2024, Margaret Maran worked as a sushi helper, a role that sparked her interest in both the culinary craft and the business side of food service. That early experience led her to pursue franchise ownership, combining her love of food with a desire to grow within the industry.

Since becoming a franchisee, she’s gained new skills, built relationships with customers from all over the world, and developed a deeper understanding of what it takes to run a successful business.
